A rural wedding has a different feel to a coastal or town venue. There’s more space, a slower pace, and often a day shaped by the people and the property more than a schedule. We film weddings across Kyogle, Casino, Grafton and the wider Northern Rivers, from backyard ceremonies to farm sheds, paddocks and country halls.

Our approach is the same everywhere. We capture your day as it unfolds, with no staged poses and no turning the day into a production. The nervous laugh before the walk, the dad who can’t quite get through his speech, the dog that wanders into the ceremony: those are the moments you’ll want back.

Why rural weddings need a different approach

Filming in the country comes with challenges that a city venue doesn’t. Here’s how we handle them:

• Audio in open spaces. Wind and wide-open ceremonies can swallow vows. We record multiple audio sources so your vows and speeches stay clear even in a paddock.

• Changing light. Harsh midday sun, deep shade under trees, golden hour over a hill. We plan around the light on your property so the film looks natural, not rushed.

• Weather. Rural plans often shift with the weather. We stay flexible and adapt if your ceremony moves undercover or the timeline changes.

• Distance and access. We build travel and arrival time into your day so we’re set up before guests arrive, not scrambling at the gate.

Coverage that suits a rural day

We film with up to 5 cameras and multiple audio recordings, so we can cover the ceremony, speeches and reception from different angles without getting in the way. Many rural couples add the full ceremony and speeches to their package so the whole day is recorded alongside the highlight film.

Yes. We film across the Northern Rivers, including Kyogle, Casino and Grafton. Tell us your location when you enquire and we’ll confirm availability and any travel details.

Will you be able to capture our vows if it’s windy?
How do we keep your vows and speeches clear, even in open spaces? We record using up to six audio devices, with additional audio isolation in post-production to help bring your words forward and reduce background noise.

Can you film at a private property with no formal venue?
Absolutely. Many of our weddings are on private land. We’ll talk through the layout, light, and timeline with you beforehand.

What if the weather changes?
We adapt on the day. If your ceremony moves undercover or the schedule shifts, we adjust with you.
